Portion Fix Meal Plan 101 – stop counting calories, start counting containers.
(Also known as the 21 Day Fix Meal Plan)
Are you working on your 2018 New Year’s Resolutions for health and fitness? I organize a wonderful free community called 21 Day Fix Meal Planning 101 on Facebook. It’s an open group that walks through all the basics for Autumn Calabrese’s wonderful tried and true (by me and millions of others) easy “Fix” meal plan. Click here to join!
Maximize your results with fitness by pairing it with balanced meal plan. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be difficult. Portion Fix is a clean eating, well rounded meal plan filled with delicious whole foods you choose. The plan features roughly 40% carbohydrates, 30% protein and 30% fat, a balance not only great for weight loss but also gives you energy to get the most out of your fitness plan or active lifestyle. Unlike other weight loss programs, this meal plan allows for fruit, nuts, cheese, heck even a few times a week a glass of wine. Flexibility, control and ease are what makes this program so user friendly and wildly popular.
If you are a visual learner, this eating plan is for you.
You will learn how the program works, be provided food lists, recipes, tips, tricks and gadgets for making long term better eating choices. It’s the program I have adopted and it has changed my approach to nutrition 100%. Drop in, download all of the valuable resources, ask questions and start testing it out for yourself. This program is compatible with any fitness program you may be working on or as a stand alone weight loss program.
Similar to Weight Watchers, but instead of counting points you count portions tracked by little color coded containers that you can convert with any healthy recipe. Pinterest has hundreds of wonderful recipes making the Portion Fix Meal Plan very user friendly.
There’s also a wonderful recipe book by Autumn Calabrese, called Fixate that has some wonderful easy to follow recipes designed specifically for this program. I’m in the process of trying them out in my own test kitchen.
A few years ago when I was figuring out how I was going to lose weight and start a new program, the Portion Fix Meal Plan was the foundation to making long term better choices in my diet. Not only did I learn how to make better decisions but I discovered new foods I never knew I enjoyed, like apples with peanut butter.
